Metal halide lamps

Metal halide lamps are AC lamps in which the arc burns in an atmosphere of mercury vapor and halogenides.
 
Based on the HMI family, further groups of lamps have been optimized for special applications, e.g. HMP, HSR, SharXS HTI and most recently the 4ArXS HSD/HCD product group.
 
The halogen metal vapor technology enables high luminous efficiency, good for better color rendering and color temperature similar to daylight. Since the invention of HMI lamps in 1968, they have been continually developed and improved.
 
Today the product spectrum encompasses double ended and single ended lamps, with and without outer bulb, from 35 to 18000W.

HMI/HTI/HSR

HMI, HTI and HSR lamps are mainly used in the area of entertainment lighting.HMI lamps provide the highest values of color rendering, along with a high luminous efficiency of up to 100 lm/W.
